Non-surgical rhinoplasty aims to camouflage minor contour differences, usually by injecting hyaluronic acid filler into selected areas of the nose. It does not make the nose smaller, does not change the bone and cartilage structure and does not treat breathing problems.
What Is Nose Filler (Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty)?
Nose filler may be considered for limited dorsal irregularities, selected asymmetries or the profile transition. Because it adds volume, it does not truly reduce a large, wide or markedly humped nose; it can only change the perception of light and shadow.
Due to its vascular anatomy, the nose is one of the high-risk areas for filler treatments. Inadvertent intravascular injection can lead to tissue loss, visual impairment or loss of vision and, rarely, neurological complications.
What is assessed during the examination?

- Nasal skin, previous surgery or fillers, vascular risk, profile and frontal appearance are evaluated together.

- If there are breathing complaints, an intranasal examination and, if necessary, an assessment by the relevant specialist are planned.

Who May Be a Candidate?
- Adults with minor, selected contour differences who accept the addition of temporary volume
- People who do not expect nose reduction or improvement in breathing
- People without active infection, product allergy or unsuitable vascular/tissue risk
- People who understand the signs of vascular occlusion emergencies and the need for intervention
How Does the Process Work?
- After standardized photography, controlled injection with small volumes is planned, taking anatomical risk zones into account.
- The technique varies according to the choice of needle or cannula, the injection plane and the target area.
- Skin color, pain, circulation and visual symptoms are carefully monitored during and after the procedure.
Safety note: Progressively increasing severe pain, blanching or a net-like pattern on the skin, or changes in vision after filler injection require urgent assessment.
Recovery and follow-up
Swelling, redness, tenderness and bruising may occur. Severe or increasing pain, whitening of the skin or a purple net-like pattern, coldness, blurred or lost vision, double vision or neurological symptoms require emergency intervention; do not wait.

Frequently asked questions
Does nose filler make the nose smaller?
No. Filler adds volume; by camouflaging certain contours, it can create the perception of a more balanced profile.
Does nose filler improve breathing?
No. The cause of the breathing problem should be evaluated with an intranasal examination.
Can nose filler be dissolved?
Hyaluronic acid products can be reduced with hyaluronidase where appropriate; this also carries risks, including allergy and tissue damage.
Which symptoms are an emergency?
Sudden severe pain, whitening or bluish discoloration of the skin, changes in vision and neurological symptoms require urgent assessment.
Scope of the effect and limits of permanence
The result is temporary, depending on the product used and individual metabolism. Early swelling is not the final appearance; whether a repeat treatment is needed is determined at the follow-up examination.
Alternatives and complementary options
For structural change, nose reduction or breathing goals, rhinoplasty is evaluated. Monitoring without a procedure is also a valid option; filler is not safe or suitable for every nose.
